Our rehabilitation center staff is committed to helping patients reach their recovery goals as quickly and completely as possible. Some of our specialized therapies include:

  • Thermotherapy and cryotherapy: uses heat or cold to relieve muscle pain
  • Gait training: helps with the ability to stand and walk
  • Pulmonary: helps with the lung function and the ability to breathe
  • Activities of daily life (ADL) therapy: helps with strategies to complete daily tasks, such as dressing, bathing, feeding and laundry
  • Orthotic fabrication: includes evaluation, creation and custom fitting of orthopedic braces
  • Electroconvulsive therapy: treatment, typically for various forms of paralysis, using currents passed through the body to stimulate nerves and muscles
  • Reality orientation therapy: designed to improve cognitive and psychomotor function in persons who are disoriented or confused
  • Dysphagia therapy: helps patients with swallowing disorders
  • Aphasia therapy: helps patients with communication disorders, such as talking
