Sarasota, FL – Doctors Hospital of Sarasota has appointed Thomas Trinchetto, MD as Chief Medical Officer. In his position as CMO, Dr. Trinchetto will provide leadership, medical oversight and expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare.
“Dr. Trinchetto’s clinical and leadership experience positions him well for the Chief Medical Officer role. As CMO, he will be an instrumental part of strengthening the relationship between hospital administration and the medical staff, in addition to maintaining the high quality of medical care at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota” said President and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Meade.
Dr. Trinchetto has served in numerous leadership roles including Chief of Staff and Chief of Medicine at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, Medical Director of Emergency Services and Chief of Medicine at Fisherman’s Hospital in Marathon, Florida.
Dr. Trinchetto received his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the former Baltimore City Hospital, since renamed the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. His clinical experience includes thirty-four years in Emergency Care, four years inpatient Critical Care and four years Peer Review as a Physician Advisor for Maryland PRO.
